Impact of international sanctions against Russia
(also impacting Belarus)
I am a contributor based in Russia/Belarus. What do international sanctions mean for me?
As a result of sanctions imposed on Russia, international financial institutions are prohibited from engaging in transactions with most Russian/Belarusian banks. That includes the payment partners we work with to get Russia/Belarus-based contributors paid. As a result, we are currently unable to send payments to contributors who are based there. If you are a contributor based in Russia or Belarus, please contact your payout provider for more information.
This situation could change quickly.
It is crucial to acknowledge that this situation is fluid and subject to change. We are still maintaining download and referral revenue metrics for contributors based in Russia and Belarus, and the funds will remain secure until the situation changes and we are able to make payments. Contributors affected by the international sanctions will be able to track accumulated revenue in their Contributor Dashboard.
We are actively monitoring developments and maintaining communication with our payment partners. Should there be any updates that allow us to make payments to contributors in Russia or Belarus, we will promptly inform affected contributors and pay them their accumulated revenue. Your patience and understanding during this uncertain time are greatly appreciated.
